Tip from Bill: For A Unique Look with the Metal Dyes, Use With or Without a Stencil. Example: Lay Leaves or Paper, (Cut Into Pattern/s of Your Choice) on the Metal & Apply the Dye/s Around the Edges. Or, Apply the Dye/s to a Leaf or Paper Pattern & Press Onto the Surface of the Metal You Are Coloring.
Colors Can be Combined, Thinned, OR Layered, Color Upon Color. (The White Dye is Semi-Opaque) – Colors can be Darkened (Shaded) With the Black Dye, Which is Also Translucent. These Dyes Will Not Hide the Beauty of the Metal Beneath.

I finally tried my metal dyes today. I never had to thin them, they mixed great for blended coloring and air brush clean up was a piece of cake. I only wish you had a 10 star eating instead of 5. Your metal dyes will be a staple product in my shop. OH, and they DO NOT look like paint … they really do provide a metallic luster!
