The Patina Instantly Produces a Medium to Dark Brown Patina on Mild Steel Without Using Any Heat. Room Temp Application, as with All STEEL F/X® Patinas & Dyes. No Heating of the Patina and/or the Metal is Required! Re-Applying or Leaving in Contact With the Steel, Will Also Yield a Darker Combination of Brown & Mauve.

I have tried this product on a few projects. both on sand blasted and on polished steel. The colors ranged from plum to black. with midnight blue highlights. the result was stunning after clear coating. I would highly recommend adding this to your patina arsenal. I must warn you one quart is not going to be enough once you start using this patina. You will find your self looking for projects just to use this product on.
