I’ve been eyeing Bills Patina starter kits for the past 2 years, as we came in and out of producing metal art and selling to customers. The past 6 months we’ve really dived heavy into producing metal art, primarily working in stainless steel now for popular patriotic pieces and mild steel for monograms and personal name signs. With our two main product lines locked in, I have really been wanting to branch out into more patina’d designs and finishes and man oh man was I ready to get my hands on these patina sprays. I ordered one of the starter kits to test them out, and just now today I used the COPPER F/X on a new cross design which produced an amazingly bright and clean finish. I then went through with the TORCH F/X to add some beautiful reds and blues. Can’t say enough about how awesome it turned out! Clear-coat is drying now and I can’t wait to get it up for sale on our website to see how our customers react to it.
As of right now I’m literally here on this exact page looking at the concentrates and larger sizes of COPPER F/X because I can already tell I’m going to really start using this stuff on more and more of our metal art & decor designs.

This is the easiest and best looking way to achieve a copper plating on steel. COPPER F/X makes my artwork come alive with color. Being the base coat for most of the other Patinas, the COPPER F/X is by far my most used product from STEEL F/X. I did some experimenting with the COPPER F/X and RUST F/X. They are both so simple to use. I was trying to create an aged and weathered patina on a outdoor steel sign. I was very pleased with the results and my client loves the sign. It really is amazing how you can take a bright and shiny new piece of steel and transform it into old, antique and rusted in a matter of hours. Great products!

Bill, Your patinas are a major hit! I just finished a 2 day trade show and sold so many things done up with the Copper FX. No one in my area has ever seen anything like it !!!!!! I sold 10 painted black items and all of the patina coated items (36 peices 😀 ) I made more money in 2 days because of bills patinas than a week on the oil rigs! Now that feels good!!
