I’m so glad I found your site/ and products. I was struggling to get effect my customers wanted, with your product it only took 3 trial pcs and we got it done I wish I could upload the photo of the final product. We are dealing with quite large Architectural steel panels so we clean the scale with a dustless sand blaster (developed by us) apply 1 coat of your product, rinse, re apply rinse again, then dry it, wipe it with a clean rag, and we buff it with blue gel, it looks like a million dollar. You got a customer for life thank you sir

Do you have to put a protective coating on the steel after the f/x if it is a yard display?
Yes, any steel that has been patinated will rust if not clear-coated. :o)
How long will the color last outside with the clear coat
With the proper UV inhibiting clear-coat, the color/s will remain vibrant for 15+ years.
Even longer if the piece is displayed out of direct sunlight. A high-quality automotive
2-part clear is the best. I prefer PPG’s DELTRON DC3000 for all of my metal work.
