Q: Hello, I am interested in your Color case hardening kit, for an old savage 99 Rifle I am restoring, The lever was case hardened, but it’s entirely gone, and your product might be the answer. However, i believe your product needs a clear coat to complete the finish…correct? I’m not a fan of shiny clear coats, and was wondering if a Satin Lacquer like Min-Wax’s Satin Lacquer could be used instead of Automotive gloss clear-coat? let me know. Thanx, Don
A: Hi Donald,
Thanks for the question. It was a good one! Bill
