”Hello Mr. Worden,
What would you recommend using to color 22 gauge mild sheet steel blue?  I’ve seen a few of your videos showing stainless but I’ve not seen anything for mild steel”.
Thanks,
Doug

Answer From Bill:

Hi Doug,

The Most Popular Blue Patina Choices, in Descending Order, Are:

The Above Mentioned Patinas Are All Liquids.  BLUE HALO™, TORCH F/X™ & FLAME F/X™ also come in Gel Form, which is typically used for Marbling & Patterning. Basically, the Gels Create Darks, Lights & Abstract Patterning That the Liquid Versions Can’t Do as Well.
BLUE-BLACK F/X™ Gel is Also Very Popular for Deep, Dark, Blueish-Black Finishes, Similar to Cold Gun Bluing.
The BLUE METAL DYE is Also an Option, but the Best Uniform Finish is Accomplished With an Airbrush.
Hope that helps.
Thanks,
Bill
